I think that after 9 months of non-stop rowing I'm ready for a bit of a break - thankfully there's one in sight! After our last two regatta's this weekend we get the month of September OFF! Woop woop! I've gotten to the point where it's very rare that I'm having a good time when out on the water, I come off the water irritated with myself because I'm not fixing the things that need improvement, and I'm sooooo ready to have my weekends free! Now don't get me wrong, I have really enjoyed all the rowing that we've been doing, but YAY for some time off!
Fingers crossed for a successful weekend and a win or two for the end of the summer regatta season!
